We are so happy that we found Cris to tutor our daughter for her A level Spanish exams.
Not only does Cris have a very good understanding of the examination boards but she also teaches much, much more.
My daughter was struggling with her A level and with the tutoring that Cris gave, my daughter now understands what the examiners are looking for and has gained more confidence in the subject. Even the school teachers noticed a vast improvement.
Cris is very well prepared, does not clock watch and she can very quickly find the weaknesses and work on them. She not only tutors but she really cares and wants the best for your child.

We couldn't have found a better Spanish tutor for our son. Throughout year 11 Cris helped him gain the basic knowledge he lacked at the end of year 10 and gave him the skills and confidence he needed to improve, while keeping the lessons fun.
She went through lots of practice papers as the exams got nearer and he ended up with a grade 7 - a huge improvement from the end of year results in year 10.

I came to Cris halfway through year 10 - my first year of GCSEs.
At this point I really struggled with my Spanish and I was predicted a 3 in foundation level.
I started working with Cris once a week and she went through and explained - in detail - all the themes and topics I didn’t understand. We also went over topics I was more familiar in to make sure I was confident in my capabilities.
Not only did she teach me the curriculum in order to pass my exams, she also taught me about the geography and culture of different parts of Spain which helped me to understand the language and subject more.
Soon enough I was completing 90 word essays, reading and listening assignments and speaking out loud in class without fear of failure.
The more I understood with Cris, the more I wanted to learn and in turn I began to join more Spanish related clubs which made me more fluent.
I have just received my GCSE results and I am proud to say that I received a grade 7 in higher level Spanish.
I am planning on taking Spanish for A Level and I can’t wait to learn even more!
I would recommend anyone who wants to learn or better their Spanish. Cris is a lovely person with a chatty personality and the patience of a saint, I will never be able to thank her enough.

I would highly recommend Cris for Spanish tutoring. She helped my daughter for 2 years whilst studing for her GCSE and she obtained an excellent grade.
The online lessons worked really well and Cris was very responsive to messages and very easy to communicate with.
She was great at following my daughter's syllabus to mirror what was taught in school, but also able to provide extra support with areas she needed. This was particularly helpful when preparing for exams, espically the speaking ones.

When I first came to Cris, I had a low level of confidence in Spanish, however week by week, this began to change. Cris showed me constant encouragement and always pushed me to keep on going , even if I got it wrong.
I always looked forward to her lessons as I felt not only was I learning, I was having fun. After ever lesson, I felt that I had learnt something new and felt very satisfied with the level of teaching. Even ouside of lesson time I would receive support.

When I'd announced I was starting Spanish tutoring many said it was unnecessary but I cannot imagine how different my grade would've looked on results day without Cris.
With weekly lessons throughout the past year, we worked through the book, with her ensuring my understanding of the topics, tenses and individual words.
